It’s only (a) fair

Although up to two million people visit Hannover’s fairground every year, we want you to feel very special as a guest of our city and our guesthouse.

We help you to cope with all stressful aspects of your fair visit and we make sure you to get from A to B quickly.

We will take whatever load we can off your shoulder, so that you can concentrate entirely on your business.

We also offer a shuttle-service to the fairground for many of the major trade fairs.

From an unknown source about the Hanover Trade Fair :

When the first Hanover Trade Fair opened it´s doors in 1947, there was not allot to eat: Fish rolls with wine, that had to be diluted with water.

But there was indeed allot to see: - the, at the time, smallest diesel motor in the world. - a radio that worked on all voltages, - and even a folding pram.

The only thing was, you couldn´t buy anything. Most of the goods were only obtainable in exchange of foreign currency and destined for export.

The writer of a then current comic quoted: Yes, good Lady, on the black market you see nothing, and can buy anything. At the Hanover Trade Fair you see everything, but buy nothing.

Today you get more than what you see.
