"Watson, the gloves please!" When Sherlock Holmes wanted to cogitate intensively, or had to get his thoughts in order, he would go to a boxing club – just like his creator, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who helped immortalise the martial art techniques of "Baritsu" that was developed in 19th century England.
We warmly invite you to do the same at the "Sherlock’s Baritsu Den" in the basement of the boardinghouse. But you don't have to start hitting straight away. With a treadmill, cross trainer, rowing machine, bike ergometer and a multifunctional gym system, though, you can still clear your head, open up your lungs and get the heart racing.
Not really your thing? No worries, as only those who want to use "Sherlock's Baritsu Den" have to pay for it. This is good value considering that there is a choice between a day pass, weekly pass and monthly pass. Even guests who are not staying with us are welcome to use "Sherlock's Baritsu Den".
Day pass EUR 5.00
Weekly pass EUR 20.00
Monthly pass EUR 35.00
Access is granted via an electronic code system. You will receive your code at reception. The use of the Den is not tied to opening times. All prices include unlimited use during the allotted times.
