Welcome to the legendary Gondel restaurant! Based in a more than 100 years old building called "Georgspalast", in the basement of the GOP Varieté-Theatre – Hannover’s stage institution. Enjoy the Gondel restaurant with its unique, lively, fresh and delicious cuisine. In short: The art of cooking - without any frills.
Opening times: daily 12-3 p.m. and 6-11 p.m.
A Syrian restaurant that serves up Syrian dishes and drinks, as well as an Arabic joy of life. Orientally delicious. In summer, the inviting beer garden is the perfect place to while away the evening. A separate smoking lounge is available for smokers.
Opening times: daily 11.30 a.m.-11.30 p.m.
This Asian restaurant is located in the vaulted cellar of Hanover’s old town hall. The buffets are a particular highlight, which even feature show cooking in the evening. Ladies’ Night is on Wednesday evenings: all female guests receive a welcome glass of sparkling wine and a cappuccino after the buffet for just 12.50 euros.

Thanks to its hospitality and delicious dishes, this Greek restaurant is a real winner. Located close to the main train station, it is easy to reach even by public transport. Psst ... it’s even worth checking out the WC (we won’t give away any more details here).

An aeroplane converted into a restaurant serving Greek and international cuisine. Those who like something a little different will love this place. Delicious food for fans of aeroplanes (but not for the claustrophobic). The beer garden located by the aircraft’s fuselage is great in summer.

Small and tasty treats at affordable prices near Maschsee Lake. The beer garden not only invites guests to enjoy a cool beer in summer, but also indulge in mulled wine by the chimenea during the winter. Those who like homely atmospheres will love this place.
Opening times: daily from 12 p.m. until ‘1,001 nights’
Hanover’s oldest Turkish clay-oven restaurant complete with Anatolian hospitality that everyone will love. Eating here is like enjoying a short break at a friend’s house. Portion sizes are generous, and freshness and quality are key ingredients. From Thursday to Saturday evenings, belly-dancing demonstrations are thrown in as an extra.
