Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) About Furnished Temporary Accommodation in Hanover

No. Bed linen and towels are provided. We are a boarding house (serviced apartment) offering hotel-like services.

We are happy to accommodate guests for just one or two nights. During peak periods, a minimum stay may apply. For our long-stay offers, the minimum stay is seven nights and the maximum stay is 179 nights.

Whether you stay for a short or extended period, your stay is always based on a standard accommodation agreement rather than a rental agreement.

Guests with shorter stays pay in advance, no later than check-in. Long-stay guests are billed monthly in advance.

No, we do not require a deposit for the apartment. A deposit of €100.00 is only required for borrowed kitchen equipment.

Yes, we have a reception desk where a member of staff will usually check you in. In accordance with German registration law, you will be asked to complete a registration form during check-in.

Guests who are not registered at check-in are generally not permitted to stay overnight unless they are registered separately with us. Depending on the length of stay, an additional fee may apply.

It depends on the type of pet. Dogs are very welcome at Gästeresidenz PelikanViertel, while cats are unfortunately not permitted. Please inform us in advance, and we will let you know whether your pet can stay with you.

The fitness studio is open 24 hours a day for our guests

The fitness studio is equipped with a treadmill, vibration plate, stepper, exercise bike, weight-training station and rowing machine.

Yes. Our breakfast buffet consists exclusively of organic, fair-trade and regional products and includes a wide range of vegan options.

Yes. If you book breakfast in advance for stays of seven nights or more, the rate is €15.00 per person per day. The regular breakfast price is €19.00 per person per day.

No. Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire property.

You are welcome to add smaller pieces of furniture and personal accessories to your apartment. For larger furniture items, please consult with us in advance. Please do not drill holes or use nails on walls or ceilings.

Guests booking a long-stay apartment receive a weekly cleaning service, including towel and bed linen changes.

A safe is available at the reception desk, but not inside the apartments.

No. Our rooms and apartments are not equipped with air conditioning.

As our historic building is a listed property, it is unfortunately not possible to make it fully accessible.
